Online Creative Writing Courses
Each session follows a theme, exploring different aspects of storytelling. Whether you hanker to write a novel, work on a memoir or are simply in search of inspiration, you will receive ideas, support and encouragement.
There are exercises to stimulate creativity, thought-provoking short extracts by published authors, and the opportunity to get feedback on your own writing. You might have a work in progress and are now "stuck", or have written previously and need a fresh start, or you may just want to experiment with creative ideas and see if writing is for you. You may just want to use your dedicated writing time as an opportunity to unwind and 'escape' for a while. These online classes are designed to help you reach your writing goals - whatever they may be. Examples of topics covered: What would you like to write? Are your characters interesting enough to engage the reader? Whose story is it? How do you choose a point of view? How do you write realistic dialogue? How do you edit my own work? Fiction, non-fiction, creative non-fiction? How do you choose? How do you stay motivated? What routes are there to publication? |
