If you're completely stuck with your writing and really don't know what to write, find yourself some fabulous pens. These could be the cheapest brand, but they do need to be colourful. Get a big piece of plain paper, choose a coloured pen that takes your fancy, then write the first thing that comes into your head. Pause for a moment, take a different colour and add another thought to your page. So it goes on, through all the colours. Don't rush the process, enjoy a coffee, or two while you do it. When you've covered the sheet in multi-coloured scribbles, might you have an idea for a story? Or perhaps it's helped you work out something in progress? It may reveal nothing, but I bet you feel better afterwards!
Hi, I'm Claire and welcome to my website. Most of my published writing has been magazine articles and corporate or non-profit communications. But now it's time to get on with my novel! This blog isn't all about writing, but other 'stuff' that pops up when I'm trying to write.
